So. why would Eliot Spitzer spend $3500 an hour for a call girl?
Obviously, to impress the chicks.
More seriously, reading some of the Spitzenfreude pieces (and I’m not sure whether I want credit for whatever hand I had in starting the -enfreude trend), the pattern that emerges is one who seeks out putting himself in a position of power over those who are considered powerful. Wall Street tycoons must settle with him, or else he’ll leak bad news about them to the press and their company’s stock price will plummet.
Given, that, wouldn’t it be desirable to have a beautiful woman (I’m assuming a $3500/hr. call girl would be beautiful) at your service for an hour, obligated to do whatever you asked her to do. It wouldn’t even have to be anything extraordinary or depraved (other that the inherently depraved situation). She’s beautiful. In general, she can do whatever she wants. But for this hour, she’s yours.
It would be interesting to see what Spitzer’s life in high school with. Because it seems like he’s devoted his adulthood to settling old scores.
