Mystery Science Twitter

Tell me why this wouldn’t work….

A theatre has two screens — one that shows a movie, and on another one, the other one takes Twitter sized snarky comments from the audience either in studio or on the screen from their laptops or cell phones.  The theatre cuts a deal with one or more cellular carriers to make the cost of the text messages included in the cost of the ticket, and covers it with WiFi.  The comments that make the big screen could be filtered by an editor similar to the in-game chats on ESPN.

You’d have to specially equip the theaters, but it seems like this could be a huge hit.
