Christmas without the Stress

One of the nice things about being Catholic is that while for most people Christmas is over, for us the season of Christmas is just beginning, and the celebration continues through the Epiphany.  So I’ve got my Christmas music on, despite it being expunged from the radio.

Merry Christmas season!

Merry Christmas

Long lay the world
In sin and error pining
Til He appeared
And the sould felt its worth

A thrill of hope
A weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks
A new and glorious morn

This Christmas for me is a reminder that things don’t always have to be this way. We don’t have to live in the rut of routine, doing the same things, getting the same results.

God has inserted Himself into human history, and broken the pattern. With his help, we can do the same — for ourselves, our families, our communities, and our nation.

Merry Christmas.
